We are excited to share that the Alliance of Digital Finance and Fintech Associations (AllianceDFA) is partnering with the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) as a Strategic Partner for the 2025 Inclusive FinTech Showcase. AFI’s Inclusive FinTech Showcase highlights pioneering FinTech and RegTech solutions that advance financial inclusion, particularly for underserved populations.
The partnership aligns strongly with AllianceDFA’s mission to support responsible and inclusive innovation by strengthening industry associations and building local ecosystems that connect innovators, regulators, and enablers. Through this collaboration, we aim to amplify the voices of digital finance actors from across our global network and help surface impactful solutions that can scale and deliver meaningful change.
The FinTech Showcase allows participants to:
1. Present their solutions to a global audience of central banks, government ministries, policymakers, regulators, and other industry leaders from AFI’s network of 90 member institutions in 83 countries.
2. Join a vibrant network of successful Showcase finalists from 2019 – 2024.
3. Attend technical sessions on trending topics with AFI members and with the AllianceDFA community.
4. Take part in a training session by the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) and AllianceDFA to hone investing pitching skills.
The five finalists will present their final pitch during AFI’s Global Policy Forum (GPF) on 2-5 September 2025 in Swakopmund, Namibia.The top three finalists will receive invitations to participate in AFI’s regional initiatives and Public-Private Dialogue discussions for one year, and complimentary one-year membership at the LHoFT.
The 2025 FinTech Showcase Themes
Applicants must adhere to one or more of the five 2025 AFI Inclusive FinTech Showcase themes, and meet all the eligibility criteria stipulated below.1. Enhancing the financial health and digital financial literacy of rural, agricultural or remote populations.
2. Unlocking access to green financing for women or youth-led enterprises and entrepreneurs.
3. Leveraging assistive technologies for the financial inclusion of people with disabilities.
4. Protecting consumers from cyber crimes such as fraud, scams, and identity theft.
5. Utilizing open finance frameworks to catalyze data sharing and collaboration for financial inclusion impact.
Eligibility criteria
The product or solution must:
• Operate in one or more AFI member jurisdictions.
• Use innovation or cutting-edge technology to enable fresh, meaningful dialogue with financial policymakers and regulatory communities.
• Have the potential for scaling up and ensuring commercial viability.
Entrants can be start-ups, established financial institutions or technology companies that offer innovative financial services.
