The AllianceDFA Board dedicates five seats to represent our DFA Members, which fits our role as a membership-based organisation, dedicated to supporting and amplifying the impact of our DFA Members. When establishing the Board we also made a decision for three additional seats to be filled by non-membership candidates, to ensure that we remain connected beyond our ecosystem and our strategy aligns with industry innovation and key stakeholders.

We were honoured when Jason Lamb, Deputy Director – Focus Country Implementation, Inclusive Financial Systems at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, agreed to fill one of these non-membership seats on our board in July 2022.

Jason brought his expertise, creativity and pragmatic leadership to the board, and helped propel AllianceDFA along a path of sustainability and purpose. During his two-year tenure, he contributed significantly to support AllianceDFA’s efforts with fundraising for our activities and to support our DFA members.

Jason frequently expressed his belief in AllianceDFA and what we are doing.  We were blessed to have Jason on our board and thank him for the unswerving support during his two-year tenure. His skills in forming alliances and his passion for ensuring digital financial services are inclusive and responsible were invaluable to our first board.

We want to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to Jason for his unwavering commitment and service; his impact has shaped us into the organisation we are today.

The AllianceDFA Board is currently reviewing potential candidates to join. We are looking for someone with the right experience, passion and commitment to support our strategic direction and impact. We look forward to welcoming a new member to our board soon.

Please join us in thanking Jason Lamb for his exceptional service and wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.
