Ultimately, it must redound to the benefit of every Filipino, especially those at the bottom of the pyramid. With initiatives encompassing other key sectors such as agriculture, transportation, water, health, education, and renewable energy, among others.

  • By 2022, Fintech Alliance.PH will be a recognized Self-Regulating Organization (SRO) in the ASEAN that has empowered millions of Filipinos to be part of the formal financial system.

 

Recent Achievements

March 11, 2021 – Fintech Alliance.Ph Position Papers to the House of the Representatives
As lawmakers continue their deliberation on three landmark bills aimed to strengthen digital financial inclusion efforts in the country, Fintech Alliance.Ph was invited to present its position in aid of the legislation of the said bills.

June 29, 2021 – Fintech Alliance.Ph says EO 127 a ‘big leap’ to digital financial inclusion
The implications of EO 127 to the country’s satellite broadband market and digital financial inclusion initiatives were discussed in a webinar titled “Satellite Broadband Technology and Digital Financial Inclusion” organized by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) headed by Gov. Benjamin E. Diokno in partnership with The Asia Foundation (TAF) last June 29. Representing Fintech Alliance.Ph is its chairman, Mr. Lito Villanueva.

October 22, 2021 – Optimizing Alternative Data for Inclusive Credit Access
Focusing on removing barriers to financial inclusion in the Philippines, specifically on credit access among the poor and how alternative data can bridge the gap.
The speakers invited were Atty. Anna Benjieline R. Puzon from the National Privacy Commission (NPC), Credit Information Corporation (CIC) President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Ben Joshua A. Baltazar, and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Director Ellen Joyce L. Suficiencia of the BSP Financial Inclusion Group.

November 3, 2021 – Fintech Alliance.PH signs agreement with AMLC on Information-Sharing Protocol
The Fintech Alliance.PH held a virtual signing of an information-sharing protocol agreement with the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) last November 3, 2021. Various key personalities in the country’s financial technology sector were in attendance to commemorate this event.
